Offering scenic views of the Port Phillip Bay and beyond, the Arthurs Seat is a popular place to visit. At 314 metres above sea level, the summit of Arthurs Seat is the highest viewpoint on the Mornington Peninsula.
Arthurs Seat Eagle Skylift
The Arthurs Seat Eagle Skylift or Gondolo Ride is an all-weather ride that glides above the treetops and delivers you to the summit station where food, coffee, picnic tables and panoramic views await. The journey takes 14 minutes each way and is worth every second. The views across Port Philip Bay are lovely and changes as per the seasons but the best views are on a clear sunny day. The Base Station even has a kiosk serving drinks and snacks.
Important Information: Dogs are not permitted at the summit lookout.

Near the summit lies Seawinds Gardens. It is a lush 34-hectare oasis of manicured lawns, native and exotic plantings, shady trees and the emotional sculptures of William Ricketts. It’s ideal for a picnic so bring your own lunch or use the electric BBQs by the lookout lawn, and let the afternoon drift.
