Dragon Park playground, Officer

We recently heard about a park nestled within the Arcadia estate in Officer and couldn’t resist exploring it. The Dragon Park weaves together adventure and wonder, with its centerpiece being an awe-inspiring dragon sculpture, crafted with such exquisite detail that some say it might just wake and stretch its wings at twilight.

The big dragon here is sure to delight everyone. The dragon’s presence looms large and even our son whose 12+ was super excited to visit. He explored every nook and cranny and discovered new adventures in every corner.

The dragon, with its meticulously sculpted scales and watchful gaze adds a magical allure. In fact, the park has earned the prestigious 2022 AILA Victoria Landscape Architecture Award for Play Space and the 2022 AILA National Landscape Architecture Award for Best Play Space.

Children can clamber over the play structures, weave their own tales of knights and treasure, while families get to relax in the open spaces, soaking in the magical atmosphere. Go visit and please share how you felt being there.
